Hire Options For Our Roof Tents
Option A - 3 nights in the TentBox Lite 2.0 for £149
This is a great option if you want to take a short break – or you just want to try out roof tenting, to see if it’s right for you. The generous 3 night hire period means a weekend away won’t be cut short when we fit the tent to your car.
Option B - 7 nights in the TentBox Lite 2.0 for £299
This option is ideal if you want to plan a longer adventure, such as the NC500 (the Ultimate Road Trip) or if you wanted to head further afield into Europe. It’s far cheaper to take a roof tent than a caravan on a ferry.

Option 3 - 3 nights in TentBox Lite XL for £160
This is a great option for taking a short break as a family – or to see how you all enjoy the roof tenting experience. Some couples also enjoy the spacious dimensions of the XL tent, as it offers additional room to stretch out. As with our smaller tents, the 3 night hire period means fitting the tent to your car won’t disrupt the start of your weekend away won’t be cut short.
Option 4 - 7 nights in TentBox Lite XL for £285
This option is the one for you if you’re planning on taking a longer holiday. As with the smaller tent, we can ensure that fitting is arranged for the day before your trip, ensuring that you can get off to an early start the following day without delaying your plans.

TentBox Lite 2.0
The TentBox Lite 2.0 is a great all-rounder, easily capable of accommodating 2 adults and a child. Add a camp bed to a living pod and a family of 4 can enjoy the adventure together.
With a setup time of around only 5 minutes, the TentBox Lite 2.0 is your perfect travel companion. Weighing in at only 50kg, it will fit onto almost any vehicle. This tent’s high quality materials include a 280gsm ripstop polyester canvas pod with a 500mm hydrostatic head rainfly. This means that the tent can withstand gusts of up to 39mph, making it the ideal choice for our changeable British weather. Features include:

TentBox Lite XL
The TentBox Lite XL is the super sized big brother of the Lite 2.0 and provides a much roomier option. Not only is this tent suitable for families, it’s also a great option for couples and dog owners who might like to enjoy the generous amount of space that the XL has to offer. It can comfortably accommodate up to 4 people – subject to a maximum internal weight limit of 300kg. Weighing in at only 62kg, the Lite XL is also suitable for most vehicles and shares the same advanced features and materials as the Lite 2.0 model.

No roof bars? No problem.
It’s important that you use the correct type of roof bars with our tents. In the majority of cases we can help by hiring a set that is specific to your vehicle for a small rental fee. Please read our ‘How it Works’ page for more information.
Additional Living Pods
The Living Pod provides useful additional living space for your setup. Adding the Living Pod is ideal for sheltering from the Great British weather, chilling on a camp chair, or even cooking up a feast. The Living Pod is also great for getting changed, storing wet clothing or gear or even housing a camp bed for extra sleeping space. Made from the same quality materials as the TentBox tent’s rainfly, the pods also share the 5000mm hydrostatic head rating – offering great shelter and protection from the elements.
The pod seamlessly links to the roof tent, covering the ladder and tent opening, to offer protection from the elements, increased privacy and greater security. Setup of the Living Pod is a mere 10 minutes – a very small trade off for the extra amount of comfort and additional space it will bring.
